Remarkable, as in, worth a remark.
I sent an email to a top ranking Executive within our company today. It was a simple question that typically I wouldn't email someone in his position about, but I knew he'd give me the correct answer the first time. I sent him the question and 5 minutes later my phone rang. I picked it up and lo and behold, he greeted me cheerfully!
He said he was sitting in the airport and got my email and felt like he should just call instead of sending the information I needed via Crackberry. Again, the question wasn't complicated but it changed my entire day to know that out of all the stores he's over he decided to personally call me back and answer my question. We chatted for a while and joked about HQ people and ended the conversation on a really positive note. I smiled as I hung up the phone
I've always claimed to be an email/text message kind of gal, but today I was reminded how valuable a phone call is...
